Smallholding Records

Smallholding Records

Livestock and poultry records — stock, productivity, breeding and veterinary care

Coming soon This app is being prepared for release

A smallholding is dozens of small figures that nobody writes down: how much the cow gave on Wednesday, when the sow was served, which goat is due for treatment, how much was spent on feed this month. It all seems to be in your head — and by the end of the year it is impossible to tell whether the holding pays for itself.

Smallholding Records keeps the books the way a holding actually works: the holding is divided into pens, pens hold animals, and each animal has its own history — weight, productivity, matings and treatments.

Who it is for

Owners of smallholdings and small farms keeping cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. It matters most for those who keep animals to sell milk, meat or eggs — there you simply cannot work without numbers.

What it does well

Group records for poultry, instead of the painful attempt to keep a card for every hen. Live weight estimated with a tape measure when there are no scales. Automatic calculation of the birth date from the mating date for each species. And a clear answer to the main question — what the holding earns and where the money goes.

What it does

Holding, pens, animals

The holding is divided into pens, and pens hold animals. Cattle and goats are recorded individually, hens as a group — exactly as it works in real life. Movements between pens are recorded with dates.

Productivity

Milk, wool, eggs and weight gain — by date, with a history for each animal or group. You can see which animals in the herd are working and which are simply eating.

Live weight from measurements

The built-in calculator estimates weight from the chest girth and body length, using the appropriate formula for cattle, goats, sheep or pigs. No scales required.

Breeding

Matings, kidding, farrowing and calving with the expected birth date calculated automatically for each species. Offspring immediately joins the stock.

Incubation and brooding

Separate records for poultry: eggs set in an incubator or under a broody hen, the timeline, the hatch and the result.

Veterinary calendar

Vaccinations, parasite treatments and medication with dates and a reminder when it is time to repeat.

Finances and growth chart

The cost of feed, veterinary care and upkeep against the revenue from milk, meat and eggs. Plus a weight gain chart — visual rather than a column of numbers.

Everything on your phone

No internet, no account, no subscription. An automatic backup to a folder you choose, in case the phone is lost or replaced.

Frequently asked questions

When will the app appear in the stores?

Development is finished and publication in RuStore is being prepared. As soon as the version passes moderation, an install button will appear on this page.

Which animals does it cover?

Cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. Cattle, goats, sheep and pigs are recorded individually, poultry as a group.

How does it differ from the kennel apps?

Different structure and different tasks: here you have pens and group records, productivity, body measurements and veterinary treatments — rather than pedigrees and puppy sales.

Does it need an internet connection?

No, everything works offline.
